This website displays the work of Marisa Zuniga, a local Hartford Artist. Currently up and coming, Marisa’s work displays the contents of an emotional landscape with the intensity of color and line. Recurring themes , such as the female figure and animal instincts, symbolize the unity of human nature with Mother nature.
Guided from within, the artist creates the envisioned pieces directly onto canvas.
The human conscious being the most complicated being of all, social environments and life lessons provide many avenues of life explorations. Artists communicate those experiences and show a reflection of society onto itself.
Background roots of underground and urban art, combined with the formal Art education, has led the artist to develop a strong stylistic quality with line and color. Playful delight, underlined by a subtle core of strong emotion key notes her artwork. Themes of black and white subjects leave the viewer to experience the cool crisp void. Contrasted by the vibrant expression of color and mood.
Marisa has been enjoying her time as a commissioned painter of private collections, commercial logos and recently published works. Please take the time to check out the artwork and feel free to contact with any questions.
